Visitor Photos We include Shore Acres as an annual destination while visiting friends in Coos Bay. The spacious grounds always look imaculate and reflect the love of the gardeners. We enjoy seeing the ever changing landscapes and were surprised to see so many rhodys blooming as ours are long gone. This time it was too early to see your rose test garden. We reside in Paradise Ca. in the foothills about 85 miles south of Redding. I am a charter member of Butte Rose Society (100+ members). I will write something in our "Rose Notes" newsletter to encourage our members to visit SASP. I also am a contributing writer for a magazine called Insideout. It is widely distributed in Northern California. Currently I am VP of Paradise Garden Club (100+ members). In my garden "Iris Spring", Mostly I grow deer resistant flowers plus 60 roses, all surrounded by tall wire enclosures to protect against 2 dozen deer. Each year I open my garden to plant lovers a few weeks before and during Mother's Day. I have a small hobby nursery, primarily growing iris and peonies. Carolyn Melf |
